Product development is essentially a way to structure work, which itself is a reflection of how people collaborate and coexist. Work isn’t always easy, and neither is working with others. We build tools and systems to make it easier to get things done and to simplify how we interact with one another.
However, too much reliance on process can sometimes strip away creativity and individuality, replacing them with rigid systems that prioritize efficiency over the human touch. At times, we even find ourselves improving machines just to make other machines more effective.
I always strive to stay grounded in the idea that what we create should ultimately serve people. It’s not about serving machines or processes—it’s about building tools and solutions that make life and work better for humans.
